At City Hope, it is our tradition to end the year with the annual Vision Offering—an opportunity to go above and beyond in our generosity and invest in the vision God has given us for the year to come.
Because of your commitment, City Hope is making an impact all around the Southern Illinois region. Every dollar represents a story of life change, restoration, and healing.
Together we can continue to reach people with the hope of Jesus.

The word that has been laid on our heart as a church this year is Passion. We want to be a passionate church, a church that is fueled by our faith and love for our community. What does that look like? This year, we want to focus on three specific areas where we can be an example of a passionate church.
PASSION
FOR PRAYER
We want to be, as Matthew 13 says, a House of Prayer. We want to be a place where the sick can be healed, where marriages can be restored, where chains are broken, and lost be found. A place where people who know Jesus can passionately seek His face, and those who need Jesus can find Him.
Our Vision: We want our church to be a place where the community joins together for prayer during 21 Days of Prayer, and we want to have consistent monthly prayer meetings before we serve our community.
We want to be a church that is passionate about worshiping our God. We want to worship like King David did. When King David worshiped, he worshiped with Passion. He gave everything to God, holding nothing back. We want to be passionate about praise and worship, and lift the name of Jesus high in every single way we can.

Our Vision: We want to give our congregation more opportunities to worship, and our First Wednesday services will allow for just that with an extended time in the presence of God. We also want to encourage praise and worship wherever you are, so we want to resource you with a Worship Instrumental Album done by our very own worship team to use during your personal time with Jesus.

We want to be a church that is passionate about people. Not just the people who attend, but also the people in our community. We want to show love to people just like Jesus did.

Our Vision: Raising up our Next Generation of young people to be passionate about God and people. Creating Discipleship programs that allow people to be fed into and find their purpose. Programs like Small Groups, the Discover Hope class, and Team Nights. We want to reach our community and its people through Outreach, through Serve Days, Podcasts, Live Streams, and an all new mobile App. Lastly, we want to be passionate about people and show it through Expansion. God has placed several opportunities in front of us. Although we are not ready to announce the next phase of expansion for our church, we want to set ourselves up to be financially ready for a new location or the next opportunity given to us. While we wait to finalize some bigger expansion plans, we do plan to update the facade of our current building, which will include new concrete sidewalks, an updated entrance & window treatments along the side of the building.

As we reflect on God's faithfulness, we are filled with the faith to sow into the future. His steadfast love today gives us assurance that He holds tomorrow. We stand on the shoulders of those who have sown seeds of sacrifice for generations past. This year as we give generously we think of all those who will be impacted in the future because of our obedience today.
Once a year we provide a special opportunity to go above and beyond in our generosity during our annual Vision Offering. If you have never participated in this special endeavor, we ask you to prayerfully consider joining with us as we forge the way forward. God is moving among us in Southern Illinois and beyond.
