A Christmas Tradition for the Whole Family!

Christmas Eve with City Hope Church is a holiday tradition for families across the Murphysboro area. This year’s warm and beautiful Christmas worship experience will be held at the beautiful historic Liberty Theater in downtown Murphysboro. Join us for fantastic music, memorable moments throughout, and an inspiring message from our Lead Pastor, Noah Fritsche. We’ll sing Christmas carols, have a candle light service, and experience the reading of the Christmas Story. We welcome you and your whole family to worship together with us at this intimate, traditional service.

  • Is it free to aTtend the service? Are reservations required?
There is no cost to attend Christmas with City Hope, this service is our gift to you! This year there are no reservations required, but you can help us plan a great in-person experience by showing up early to grab a seat.
  • How long is the service?
We promise to keep the service at 1 hour so that you won't be late to any of your holiday traditions.
  • What time should I plan to arrive?
Doors to the auditorium will open 30 minutes prior to the service. The auditorium may fill up quick, so we recommend arriving early so you have plenty of time to find your seat before the service begins.
  • Will childcare be provided?
This is a family friendly service that children are invited to attend. No childcare is provided. Our City Hope Kids team has prepared a special Christmas gift for all children prepared with activities for the service.
  • Will this service include candle lighting?
Yes. There will be a special candle-lighting moment during the service along with communion.
  • What do I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable to you! We're not uptight about clothing at all. Most people wear casual or business casual clothes.
